The Lillooet Public Library is your information, entertainment and community centre; a place where you can learn, discover and connect.

Located in the Lillooet REC Centre, the library is open Tuesday through Saturday.  Ours is a comfortable and welcoming space, where you can stop in for a moment or settle in for the day. Our Professional librarians will assist you in using our collections and finding the information you need.

Library cardholders can:

  • borrow from our collection of over 25,000 items on site, including books, magazines, music CDs, books on CD, DVDs and videos
  • download items from the electronic collection – music, magazines, audio books and books
  • borrow books from all other BC public libraries
  • use any of our public access computers
  • take advantage of our free Wi-Fi service

Visitors to our area can use our computers and Wi-Fi services.  If you have a library card from another BC Library, you can borrow items from our collection.

Regular Programs in the Library include:

  • The Community Adult Literacy Program -  one-to-one teaching of reading, writing and computer skills
  • Youth Night
  • Author readings
  • Movie nights
  • Children’s Story time
  • Summer Reading Club
