The District of Lillooet Emergency Operations Centre (DOL EOC) is pleased to be supporting a group of dedicated and community-minded volunteers who are helping deliver necessities to people in the community who are in self-isolation.

This volunteer organization has been dubbed “Lillooet Community Response” and their goal is to make shopping for groceries and other essential items as easy as possible for locals who have chosen, or been directed, to self-isolate for their own health and the health of others.

Lillooet Community Response is currently working with:
• Buy-Low Foods
• The Country Store
• Pharmasave
• IDA Pharmacy

If you are in self-isolation and require necessities brought to your location, please email ask4help2shop@lillooet.ca or phone 250-256-9394.

Please include in your message:
• a list of your delivery needs
• a drop-off address
 a phone number

This is a delivery service, however the payments will be conducted between the person in isolation and the store. In order to prevent the spread of germs and maintain the safety of all concerned, the payment procedure will be that store management will phone the person in isolation and ask for credit card information or will establish an account for later payment. The volunteers will not be handling cash or credit card information.

If you are looking for ways to help, please reach out to lillooetvolunteerconnect@gmail.com.

The District of Lillooet commends all volunteers for their desire to help and asks everyone to be patient as we all continue to adapt to this complex situation.
