RFP:  Cayoosh Creek Campground Operations and Maintenance

The District of Lillooet (the ‘District’) owns, operates, and maintains the Cayoosh Creek Campground (the ‘Campground’) within its municipal boundaries. The District is soliciting proposals from qualified bondable Contractors with demonstrated expertise in campground and facility maintenance to operate and maintain the Campground. The District will only enter into one independent contract and will not consider separate contracts for individual services.

The general scope of work to be considered under the terms of this Request for Proposals (the‘RFP’) is outlined in Schedule ‘A’ – Scope of Work.

The past two years, the Campground was open from mid April to mid October. The successful Proponent will perform the services during a period of mutually agreed dates. Note that the Contractor will need to be onsite earlier and later to allow for preparation for the opening and final cleanup
after the closing of the Campground.

The District is exploring the possibility of opening the Campground year-round. Should the District decide to proceed with this option in the middle of the term of a Contract, the District and the successful Proponent will negotiate rates for the off season. Questions regarding the project should be address to the Districts’ Director of Public Works, Rod Pleasance, P. Eng., at (250) 291.0701 (office) or via email pwdirector@lillooetbc.ca.
